LIBRARY

Did you know your library card can do more things then just check out books?

Come by to inquire!

The Graysville Public Library serves more than just the immediate community.  Among its patrons are students from at least seven elementary schools, five junior high schools, four high schools and four private schools.  Adult readers from all parts of the area, extending from Forestdale to Dora and Warrior, borrow books on a regular basis from the Graysville Library.  Materials in the reference department are used regularly by the students from various colleges in the Birmingham area.  The library has added internet service to the public and also offers a fax service. Head Librarian, Debbie Alexander, and her capable staff are ready to help you with all of your library needs.

The lower floor of the library hosts monthly meetings of the Graysville Chamber of Commerce and the Autumn Club. During the summer, special events associated with the Summer Reading Program are held in this area.

The lower floor of the library will accommodate groups up to a maximum of 50 individuals and is available for rental for events such as reunions and birthday parties. A small kitchen and restroom facilities are located on this floor. Please call Debbie Alexander at (205) 674-3040 to reserve.
